On October 28, 2005 the signing ceremony of the APSCO Convention was held in Beijing and representatives from the Governments of Bangladesh, China, Indonesia, Iran, Mongolia, Pakistan, Peru and Thailand signed the Convention. It marks a milestone and significant progress in the process towards the final establishment of the APSCO.

China’s Vice-Premier Huang Ju met the representatives of all delegations. “China is ready to work together with other countries in the peaceful use of space resources to allow all of the world’s people to benefit from the space technology and its application,” Vice-Premier Huang Ju said at the signing ceremony.
